This is a vintage \"Witch\" Automatic NeedleThreader (sometimes referred to by its German counterpart name, Hexe,which translates to witch).

·Condition: The top lid has separated fromthe back of the box, but the front flap still seats inside the box. I didn’twant to put tape on it.

·Instructions: I have included a pictureof the instructions (from the internet) here are the instructions to go withthe pic. There is also a YouTube clip on how it works. This is “UNTESTED”.I’m mainly selling this because of the box. (I don’t sew or have needles orthread).

1. Slide the base of threader into slots of stand.
2. Lay thread across grove (as shown in diagram included), and insert needle - eye down - into funnel.
3. Press button down, gently but firmly, and release. A small loop of thread will appear. Pull this loop of thread until end comes out.
4. Lift needle and it will be threaded. Use cutter on back of threader to snip thread at desired length.
