Hand woven Zapotec rug, handwoven of wool in Teotitlan del Valle, Oaxaca, Mexico. Pattern is based on the classic Navajo Ganado design popularized by Zapotec weavers during the mid-20th century. Bright red, black and medium gray colors. Black borders with serrated sawtooth inner edge designs. Ganado-based design.
CONDITION
Overall excellent. No holes or wear-through spots. Colors bright and unfaded (all visible in the images). A BEAUTIFUL MID CENTURY VINTAGE RUG IN GREAT CONDITION!
