Here\'s a vintage NOS Gibson ebony fretboard in good condition. It is not perfect but speaking as someone who has relic\'d and restored vintage guitars, its hairline cracks in the binding at a few frets add credibility and character. I don\'t know what model this was made for, or when, but its ~1 5/8-ish nut width suggests mid-60s (it\'s actually a little narrower, which I would attribute to decades-worth of shrinkage). The binding glue has not been scraped, so this is going to need a bit of finishing.
Width at nut: 1 37/64\"
Width at heel: 2 7/32\"
These first-gen fretless wonder frets -- low, narrow, squared-off -- are almost impossible to find in a NOS board. I looked for years! I\'ll be selling interesting parts that I no longer need so you might want to Save me as a seller.
