Gorgeous large wrought iron basket trimmed with painted metal roses.
It is a heavy basket weighing in at just under 5lbs, very nice quality & looks to be hand wrought.
The entire basket measures approximately 16” by 12” and is approx 14 1/2” in height. The interior portion of the basket not including the exterior roses is approx 9” by 13” at the rim.
It has a Made in India label on the backside of one of the leaves, reminds me of some of the fancy items Anthropologie or Shabby Chic used to carry in former collections & the quality matches those brands as well so even though I was unable to track down a similar basket my guess would be it was made in the 1990s-early 2000’s for one of those brands.
It is in excellent condition with no damage to note, has been well taken care of.
