Vintage Murano Sommerso Ribbed Vase Flame Rim, Blue w/Amber Core, Italy MCM 6 Fingers. Stands 12” tall and approx 4” at widest point. Unpackaged weight is 3 lbs 4 oz. Excellent condition with no flea bites or scratches.
The "JICO Color" Premium: The exact amber core wrapped in high-contrast turquoise/teal blue side lobes pulls a steady baseline closer to the $100 mark because it perfectly evokes the sought-after "space age" palette highly prized by Mid-Century Modern enthusiasts.
This exact color gradient, cased style, and multi-pointed star configuration is highly consistent with mid-century imports distributed by companies like Jordan’s Importing Company (JICO). JICO actively imported Venetian and Murano glass to the United States from the mid-1950s through the early 1970s.
