This is a large pottery urn vase made and signed by Roy Hamilton, who has been hailed as one of the 1980s most expressive potters. This piece is ca. 1988 and measures 17” in height and roughly 9” in width at the widest middle section. It weighs 10 lbs.
There is no damage and doesn’t appear to be used. It has his signature as well as the studio mark embossed near the bottom edge.
