I\'m making the very tough decision to let this rare book go. This is the WARNER BROS. CHARACTER DESIGN MANUAL edition that was originally produced at the Warner Bros. Consumer Products Creative Services department in Burbank, CA. This Manual was used as an internal training manual for Staff and Artists. I was an Inker/Character Artist in that department from 1997 to 2002, and helped create hundreds of pieces of Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera character art for Licensing purposes. I was presented this copy during that time. I will be more than happy to sign the Manual for you, and I\'ll even draw a sketch of a Looney Tunes or Hanna-Barbera character of your choice inside the Manual!
This edition is NOT the common Trade edition, \"Draw the Looney Tunes\" that was later published by Chronicle Books. This is one of the first original pressings that were handed out to the staff of Warner Bros. Consumer Products Creative Services, which I was a member. The book is signed by many of the WBCP Creative Services Artists and Designers responsible for this outstanding Character Design Manual. Signatures include the legendary, late, great David Edward Byrd! The Manual comes with its own 12 1/2\" x 8 1/2\" custom-designed slipcase. (From Google)...The Manual\'s contents feature 208-216 pages of character models, vellum overlays, color fold-outs, layouts, and step-by-step drawing instructions for classic Looney Tunes characters. Simply OUTSTANDING! Take a look at all of the photos, as they are very much part of the Manual\'s description. The Manual is in NEW condition...beautiful shape!! There is no writing, or scribbling anywhere in or on the Manual or slipcase. All pages and fold-outs are firmly attached.
As a LOONEY TUNES bonus, I\'m also including FIVE original 1966 Looney Tunes character art sheets! BUGS BUNNY, PORKY PIG, DAFFY DUCK, SPEEDY GONZALES, and YOSEMITE SAM! The YOSEMITE SAM sheet has ring-binder holes punched on its left side margin. All measure 8 1/2\" x 11\".
This terrific original WARNER BROS. CHARACTER DESIGN MANUAL will ship via Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box. USA, only. Avoid the shipping cost...free pick-up is available! I\'m located in Woodland Hills, CA (the Los Angeles area). Pick-up will be arranged after payment is received. Please message me if you have any questions.
