The chassis retains its original factory wiring harness using stable, original vinyl-insulated wiring. The input lines remain loose and intact at Terminal Strip positions 1 and 2, exactly as it left the facility.🛠️ Bench Test & Technical Diagnostics:

• Meter Movement: Western Electric / Simpson KS-8208 L6 (Model 142) internally illuminated, Scale-A movement. Internal voice coil measures a stable 3.03 kΩ across the large terminals. The needle swings completely free with no sticking or sag. Under a current-limited 1.35V DC bench test, the needle deflects smoothly and settles right at -8.5 VU.
• Attenuator Switch: Type BT-800 constant-impedance stepped attenuator dial (stamped BA-73987-10). It tracks at 2 dB per step with a 3900/3900-ohm impedance profile. DC resistance across the input lines measures 72.9 Ω at full right and 75.4 Ω at full left. The minor 2.5 Ω shift across the full rotation confirms the internal silver contacts are clean and the constant-impedance network is fully functional.
• Transformer: Original ADC-manufactured KS-16682-L1 repeating coil transformer. The windings are healthy and intact, making this unit a prime candidate for isolated, balanced line monitoring in a modern recording or mastering rack.
