Vintage WWII-era Jaeger B.S. Mk. XV Disk Speed Indicator with original fitted storage case. Manufactured by the Jaeger Watch Co., Inc., New York, and marked U.S. Navy Bureau of Ordnance (BuOrd) on the rear identification plate. The instrument features a mechanical dial graduated in 100 revolutions with an auxiliary counter and is designed for measuring the rotational speed of disks, shafts, and other rotating machinery.
The rear plate is marked U.S. Navy – Bureau of Ordnance, Serial No. 4941, and N.R.S. No. 43A3 (please verify from photos). The original fitted case includes the conversion chart mounted inside the lid. A scarce military precision instrument with WWII U.S. Navy provenance, ideal for collectors of military, aviation, naval, and industrial measuring instruments.
Vintage pre-owned condition. Includes the original fitted storage case with conversion chart. The instrument shows normal cosmetic wear from age and storage, including light finish wear to the case and instrument. The operating condition has not been tested, and it is being sold as found.
