Weekly Shonen Jump 1990 No.51: the issue in which YU YU HAKUSHO began. Yusuke, Keiko and Botan on the cover, and inside the 45-page first chapter in color — as the cover puts it. This is Yoshihiro Togashi\'s breakthrough, and the start of one of the four series that defined Jump\'s peak years.
The same issue carries DRAGON BALL (the Frieza saga), SLAM DUNK (nine weeks old), JoJo\'s Bizarre Adventure Part 3 and Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken — the line-up that took the magazine past six million copies.
Debut issues of the big Jump series are the top of the market. YU YU HAKUSHO No.51 copies have sold on between $500 and $1,630 this year; complete original copies rarely come up in Japan either.
