Working! Vintage 40's or 50's Globe 11" Deli Slicer with Delco 1/4HP Motor Enamel and Cast Iron finish:
The motor and switch have been tested and work perfectly. The tray slides but with a good amount of resistance so it likely will need cleaning and lubricant. The built in blade sharpener is present with both sharpening wheels in place. The original drip cup is present. The adjustment for raising and lowering the platform to change the thickness of meat works well.
Some of the Enamel paint is chipped off on the sliding tray and the cast iron frame has rust in places. The meat grip that pushes the product down into the blade slides but it is loose and gets jammed easily. The blade sharpener depth adjuster is stuck in place on one wheel and the adjuster nob is missing on the other wheel.
Over all the slicer is in great vintage condition. It could be put to use after a good cleaning or given a full restoration and put on display.
The last picture is of a different slicer of the same model and is given for reference as the description of the numbers stamped into the plaque on this slicer's motor have been painted over.
