Antique original c. 1915 Windmill candy container - Glass tower with pewter top and tin windmill. \"Candy Guaranteed\" and \"Serial No. 43687\" and \"Pat. Applied For\" embossed on glass tower legs. Pewter crossbar has embossed full moon face and eagle finial. Closure is tin slide on the base. A&E 840.
6 inches tall. Base is 1 1/2 by 1 1/2 inches. Windmill has a 2-inch diameter.
This windmill looks great. One tip of the crossbar pennant is chipped. A few of the windmill arms have a light bend. Bottom closure is scratched. There are some small chips on the bottom edge of the glass column that are mostly hidden by the tin closure. Presents well. Please see photos for condition.Guaranteed old and original.
