1,000 UPTICK CREAM WHITE COREOPSIS SEEDS
Coreopsis tinctoria
Coreopsis tinctoria, commonly known as Plains Coreopsis or Tickseed, is a vibrant annual wildflower native to North America. It features bright cream daisy-like flowers with maroon or brown centers, making it an attractive addition to gardens and meadows. These flowers grow on slender, upright stems, reaching heights of 1-3 feet (30-90 cm). Plains Coreopsis thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It\'s drought-tolerant and can adapt to a variety of soil types. Suitable for USDA hardiness zones 3-10, gardeners often sow Coreopsis tinctoria seeds for its colorful blooms and as a source of natural dye.
Germinating Coreopsis tinctoria seeds
Sow Coreopsis tinctoria seeds directly onto prepared soil in spring after the last frost. Lightly cover them with a thin layer of soil and keep the soil consistently moist until germination, which usually takes around 7-21 days. Choose a sunny location for optimal growth and flowering. Detailed germination instructions will be included with your order!
These Coreopsis tinctoria seeds were stored in a cool, dark environment prior to shipment to maintain viability. All packets include personalized growing instructions based on your local climate so that you know when to start each variety!
