This is a 1962 Pontiac Catalina analog slot car, built as the Passionate Poncho drag racer. This was an AMT slot car kit, and it utilizes the AMT chassis that came with the kit.
Other parts have been upgraded, to include a 12V NSR motor (21,400 rpm) and H&R aluminum wheels with American Racing style inserts.
The body is in decent condition with no cracks but it does show scuffs, scratches and general signs of use (this build is about 10 years old). The front wheels have been modified with a glued rubber band to increase the diameter enough for the wheels to touch the track and spin.
