11/16/1935 College Football Program-LSU at Georgia-Sanford Stadium-Ads-Unique For Sale

Offered is this vintage college football program from the November 16, 1935 game between Louisiana State University and the University of Georgia, played at Sanford Stadium in Athens. There are team rosters (including the color center pages with probable lineups for both teams), photos, game results for 1934 and 1935 to date, Georgia "songs and yells" and more. There are many ads for both local and national products, including the full-page back Coca-Cola cover. Also included are two sepia-tone photos of the period related to the University of Georgia, probably clipped from a newspaper, or possibly a magazine (see last photo). This is a rare, possibly unique find; at the time of original listing I could not find another program from this game for sale on or anywhere else.The program is approx. 11 3/4" x 9". The pages are not numbered but it looks like there are approx. 32. It has not been professionally graded but I estimate the cover to be in fair condition, with the rest of the program in good condition. The cover has some surface wear and a few small holes in a narrow band along the stapled edge. There is also some edge wear on the top front corner that extends to the first two pages and a small area of surface wear near the "Lucky" pack. A small amount of the lower back corner has been clipped. There is some wrinkling, creasing and some light soiling. I see no missing or torn pages except for that already noted. Most of the lower corners have been "dog-eared" and these creases remain. The pages have yellowed slightly but otherwise are mostly clean, with only a few occasional spots. The staples are partially but not completely rusty. I see no writing in the program.Please take a moment to look at some of the other items in my store!
