Two printed sermons appearin the back of the book, each about 30 pages each. Two book plates on the inside front cover from the Library of the Cony Female Academy, and the Kennebec Natural History and Antiquarian Society. Table of contents written in pen on the first flyleaf. Very good condition. Cover is lightly soiled, and the leather has creases. Pages are very clean with minor yellowing; the title page has minor foxing, but otherwise pages are clean. Manuscript correction of one word on page 30 of the last book.
Bound bi-monthly periodical, starting at No. 7 for January and February, ending with No. 12 for November and December of 1820. Topics published generally focus on theologicalcommentary and dialogue, but include book reviews, poetry, and intelligence. The magazineis bound with two seemingly unrelated sermons from early 1821.
