Antique 1837 fourth edition hardcover in fair antiquarian condition. Half leather binding with marbled boards and marbled page edges. Text block appears secure and no missing pages seen. Spine/board area appears to have clear tape reinforcement. Covers show heavy rubbing, scuffing, surface wear, discoloration, corner/edge wear, and wear to leather spine and boards. Pages show foxing, age toning, and scattered spotting. Previous owner bookplate and pencil writing to front endpapers. No dust jacket, as issued. Please review photos carefully.
