Volume one features initial compositions and structural teachings on Christian faith. Volume two continues with highly practical, text-focused scriptural analysis and Volume three finalises the trilogy, covering topics like spiritual growth and redemption.
8vo, three volumes, uniformly bound in period full calf, gilt lettered to red morocco labels at spines, five raised bands. Original brown endpapers. Marbled page edges. Bookplate of Crewe Hall to front pastedown of each volume. Measuring approx 15cm by 22.5cm.
The contents are complete, meeting collation; xii, 342pp; viii, 369pp; viii, 364pp.
Condition: The bindings are holding firmly and in good condition, rubbed to hinges and bumped to corners, spine and edges scuffed, some chipping notable to headcap of volume one. Contents holding firmly and in very good condition, lightly toned and with the occasional spot or mark.
