An especially interesting feature is the extensive period handwritten family genealogy preserved on the Family Record pages. The entries document the Holbrook family, including Sylvanus Holbrook and Betsey Pond, with numerous birth and death dates recorded across generations.
The volume also contains printed tables relating to Scripture measures, weights, money and time.
The leather exterior has substantial wear and deterioration from age and use, particularly around the spine and joints, but the binding remains stable and the boards remain attached. Interior foxing varies considerably. Some leaves show heavier foxing and spotting, while many pages remain comparatively clear and easily readable.
