A detailed topographical and historical account of Algeria by John Reynell Morell. The author provides insight into Algeria during the mid nineteenth century, covering the native population, the political divisions of North West Africa, the scenery, various provinces, the French army and more.
CONDITION
Bound in full crushed morocco. Endpapers renewed, lacking advertisements to the rear. Externally very smart with slight fading to the spine and light edge wear, with very minimal loss to the head of the spine. Owner\'s inscription to the front free endpaper. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with the odd spot. Lacking folding map.
