It is a very interesting analysis by a high level military officer of the first Union army in action before and during the Battle of the Peninsula, as well as observations on America itself. The first page is a fold-out map of Richmond and Environs. About 6\" x 9 1/2\", 188 pages, softcover. Signed on the cover by an owner.
Fair or bettercondition as shown. The cover is worn and soiled. The back cover has detached. The pages are dog-eared. The binding and spine are still tight. The pages are still relatively bright and still supple. The book can be read without fear and displays really well.
