Morris’s Human Anatomy – Third Edition – 1903
Antique medical/anatomy reference published by P. Blakiston’s Son & Co., Philadelphia. Copyright 1902. Third Edition, revised and enlarged.
Illustrated with 846 woodcuts, including 267 printed in colors. Contains beautiful early anatomical illustrations of the skull, heart, brain, circulatory system and other structures.
This appears to be a former University of Colorado reference/library copy and retains the institutional marking on the spine.
Condition: Heavy exterior wear consistent with a 120+ year-old reference book. Cloth boards show staining, rubbing, fraying and edge wear. Page edges are aged and there is some edge/chipping wear. Interior illustrations remain remarkably attractive, including numerous color anatomical images. Binding and pages should be reviewed closely in photographs. No attempt has been made to restore the book.
A great piece for an antique medical collection, doctor’s office décor, medical history collection, anatomy enthusiast, or vintage book collector.
