1915G 5P GERMANY IRON MS65 NGC.
Value and RarityThe 1915 G 5 pfennig is an iron coin, a composition that replaced the previous copper-nickel issues due to metal shortages during World War I. Coins of this type and year in general, even in uncirculated condition, typically have a low monetary value as they are not considered a major key date for the series in lower mint states.
NGC MS 65 Value:A coin certified as NGC MS 65 is a high-grade, gem mint state example. While specific sale data for an MS 65 with the 'G' mint mark is unavailable, a 1915-D 5 pfennig iron coin graded NGC MS 65 was noted as having a low population (pop 3/0, meaning only three known, none higher at the time of the listing) by a merchant and its value is likely significantly higher than average uncirculated examples, possibly in thehundreds of dollars rangeor more given its rarity in that specific top-tier grade.
