~ Chitarra siciliana anni \'20 ~
Striking and painstakingly restored 100 year-old Sicilian beauty, visually resembling the famous turn of the century Neapolitan bowlback mandolins. Works with both steel strings (bit louder) and nylons, which is the current setup (bit more magic).
Suffice to say that restoration was exceptionally thorough on this one and so well done that you will have trouble locating it (the dark maple back and sides help, too).
This is not necessarily an instrument you want to study music on, but rather an exceptional time capsule with one of a kind Mediterranean charm, furthermore coming from a region where modern guitars hail from.
The well-preserved label inside reads \"Alfredo Albertini, Catania\".
