Vintage Rotherhams for Ashford & Davis – 9ct Yellow Gold Wristwatch, London 1931
A charming and characterful antique wristwatch byRotherhams for Ashford & Davis, dating from 1931.
This watch features a 9ct yellow gold case with London hallmarks for 1931, a classic white dial, and a signed manual-wind movement. With its understated design and period details, it is a lovely example of early 20th-century British watchmaking.
I purchased this watch at a Fellows sale house in the UK in October 2023. Since acquiring it, the watch has undergone a professional overhaul.
I have genuinely enjoyed owning this piece, but I have decided to part with it as I refine my watch collection. I hope it will find a new home with someone who appreciates the charm and history of antique watches.
