Original Soviet USSR trade union membership booklet issued by the Trade Union of Communications Workers of the USSR, with an extensive collection of original VTsSPS / Soviet trade union membership revenue stamps preserved inside.
The membership booklet was issued to Bogdanovich and records entry into the trade union on March 29, 1931.
Particularly interesting is the large number of original non-postal trade union dues stamps / membership revenue stamps attached to the pages. These stamps documented the payment of regular Soviet trade union membership dues.
The booklet contains numerous different VTsSPS (All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions) membership stamps from the early 1930s, including several different designs, colors and denominations.
Visible denominations include examples of 50 kopeks, 70 kopeks, 90 kopeks, 1 ruble, 2 rubles 30 kopeks, 2 rubles 70 kopeks, 3 rubles, 3 rubles 50 kopeks, 3 rubles 60 kopeks, and other values.
Many stamps retain their original cancellations, handwritten entries and trade union markings.Membership dues are recorded over several consecutive years, approximately 1931 through 1935, providing an unusually extensive period record rather than a single loose stamp or isolated payment.
The booklet itself is printed bilingually in Ukrainian and Russian and contains regulations concerning trade union membership, dues, transfers and members\' rights and obligations.
