CONDITION:
Original 1934 paper catalog in antique, pre-owned condition. Shows age-related toning, scattered staining/foxing and surface soiling, particularly on the covers. There is edge and corner wear, small creases and nicks, and expected wear along the stapled spine. Interior pages remain readable with strong illustrations and advertising graphics. The illustrated cover features Uncle Sam surrounded by fireworks and two National Recovery Administration “NRA Member—We Do Our Part” Blue Eagle emblems. This is an original Depression-era catalog—not the commonly offered modern reproduction of the 1933 edition.
The catalog contains approximately 24 pages of illustrated fireworks, firecrackers, salutes, skyrockets, Roman candles, sparklers, cap pistols, toy guns, novelty items and patriotic assortments. Featured brands and products include Tank Brand, Star Brand, Bulldog, Dough-Boy, Zebra, Thunderbolt, Devil on the Walk and the company’s “Young American” assortment.
