Walker, 142 East 34th Street, NYC.This Depression-era booklet is notable for its multilingual content in English, Italian (photo 3), and Polish (photo 2) reflecting outreach to NYC immigrant communities. Includes medical questionnaires, personal record pages, physician advertising, and printed calendars for 1936 and 1937 on the back cover. Designed to be carried daily, these fragile pulp-paper booklets were rarely saved.Condition
Good vintage condition for age. Toning, edge and corner wear, creasing, and light surface marks consistent with a 1930s pocket guide. Pages complete and legible. Please see last few photos showing close ups of a few rough corners. A great piece of NYC immigrant history and medical advertising ephemera.
