1948 OLDS \"Super\" Trumpet (Serial # 31102), NY BACH 7C Mouthpiece, New CROSSROCK Hard Case.
This horn is one of the best playing trumpets I\'ve owned, and I\'ve owned quite a number of pro-horns over my 70 years of trumpet playing. It\'s a classic, professional Olds trumpet still in excellent, original condition. The valves are wonderful with excellent compression. I use Hetman Classic #3 oil. The slides are smooth without leakage. The 3rd valve slide couldn\'t be better, even after 78 years of use. There are no dents or evidence of major repairs.
The Mt Vernon Bach 7C mouthpiece is from the late 1950\'s and is in great condition. IMHO it\'s far better than the Bach 7C\'s of today. Unfortunately, I don\'t have the original Lifton case, but the new case this horn will come in is nice. It has space for mutes, holds two mouthpieces, looks good and comes with a shoulder strap.
