1955-1968 Chevy OEM Tapered Bearing Front Hub Conversion Kit RESTORED.

Bought these restored from a restored Chevy parts supplier and did not fit my application.

Restored OEM tapered-bearing front hub conversion kit for 1955–1968 full-size Chevrolet. This is the factory-style setup that converts early straight/ball-bearing front spindles over to serviceable tapered roller bearings — the same arrangement Chevy ran through the late '60s, and a far better choice than hunting down NOS originals.

What you get (pictured is exactly what ships):

• 2 restored cast hubs, 5-lug, studs installed

• Bearing races/cups pressed into both hubs — one hub still has fresh grease packed in from assembly

• 1 inner (large) tapered roller bearing cone

• 1 outer (small) tapered roller bearing cone

• 1 spindle tang/lock washer

• 2 grease seals

• 2 grease dust caps

Please read: This is not a complete two-side install. You get one set of bearing cones and one lock washer, so plan on sourcing a second bearing set and a second tang washer, plus spindle nuts and cotter pins, to finish both corners. Everything listed above is in hand and shown in the photos — nothing hidden, nothing assumed.

Condition: Used/restored. Hubs are clean, straight, and free of cracks or damage. Normal cosmetic wear and casting texture consistent with restored 60-year-old parts. Studs are in good shape with clean threads.

Fitment: Cross-references to 916 vehicle applications per the original manufacturer listing, covering 1955–1968 Chevrolet passenger cars — Impala, Caprice, Bel Air, Biscayne and related full-size models, with 250 I6, 283/307/327, 396 and 427 V8 engines. Verify against your spindle before purchase; 1955–1968 Chevy front ends went through several revisions and buyer is responsible for confirming application.
