Original 1959 Detroit Tigers Official Score Book from Briggs Stadium, hand-signed on the front cover by Hall of Famer Charlie Gehringer and celebrated Tigers pitcher Schoolboy Rowe.
Both signatures have been authenticated by PSA/DNA. The included full Letter of Authenticity, dated February 12, 2026, identifies both Charlie Gehringer and Schoolboy Rowe and bears certification number AR02499.
Gehringer and Rowe were leading members of Detroit’s great teams of the 1930s. Rowe won 16 consecutive games during the Tigers’ 1934 American League pennant season, and both players helped Detroit capture the 1935 World Series championship. Gehringer was the 1937 American League Most Valuable Player and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1949.
The scorecard was fully scored in blue ink during the June 5, 1959 game between the Detroit Tigers and Washington Senators at Briggs Stadium. Detroit won the closely contested game, 7–6, before 27,537 spectators. Future Hall of Famers Al Kaline and Harmon Killebrew appear in the scored lineups, while Hall of Fame pitcher Jim Bunning appears on Detroit’s printed roster.

Approximately 6\" × 9.25\" vintage staple-bound program exhibits general handling and game-use wear, including cover and interior creasing, edge and corner wear, scattered age toning and light staining, and visible abrasion and wear along the spine. The centerfold and other interior pages show normal fold and handling wear. Both cover signatures remain legible, although their contrast varies against the green background.
