1960-D U.S. Mint Uncirculated 5-Coin Denver Pack – Original Sealed – 90% Silver For Sale

1960-D U.S. Mint Uncirculated Coin Set — Original Denver Mint PackAn original 1960 Denver Mint five-coin Uncirculated pack, preserved in its vintage U.S. Mint pliofilm packaging more than 65 years after it was issued. This pack represents the Denver Mint portion of the official 1960 United States Mint Uncirculated Set and contains five original 1960-D coins:Lincoln Memorial Cent • Jefferson Nickel • Roosevelt Dime • Washington Quarter • Franklin Half DollarAlso preserved inside the original packaging is the government-issued Denver Mint identification token, marked:“UNCIRCULATED COINS OF DENVER MINT — DISTRIBUTED BY U.S. TREASURER’S OFFICE.”The complete 1960 U.S. Mint Set was originally distributed with separate Philadelphia and Denver packs containing 10 coins in total. Only 260,485 complete 1960 Mint Sets were originally issued, making these original government-packaged sets considerably scarcer than many later Mint Sets.Three of the five coins—the 1960-D Roosevelt dime, Washington quarter and Franklin half dollar—are struck in 90% silver. The largest coin is the classic Franklin Half Dollar, a short-lived American series produced from 1948 through 1963. Its Benjamin Franklin portrait and Liberty Bell reverse make it one of the most recognizable U.S. silver coins of the mid-20th century. These are original business-strike uncirculated coins, not Proof coins. They remain sealed together in their original Mint packaging and have not been removed or individually graded.“Uncirculated” describes the manner in which the coins were originally issued and should not be interpreted as a specific numerical grade. Natural toning, contact marks, spotting and other characteristics associated with original Mint Sets may be present.Tedder & Sons has intentionally preserved the original packaging and has made no attempt to clean or polish the coins.IMPORTANT: This offering contains one five-coin 1960 Denver Mint pack only. The corresponding Philadelphia Mint pack is not included. An excellent collectible for a U.S. Mint Set collector, silver-coin enthusiast, Franklin half-dollar collector, 1960 birth-year collector, or anyone interested in original mid-century U.S. government coin packaging.5 original 1960-D U.S. coins
