These are two really cool, ultra unique custom made plates from Caribe China in Puerto Rico.
These plates were custom-made for the Metropolitan Edison Company (Met-Ed), an electric utility company operating in Pennsylvania.The central design features the iconic Pennsylvania \"keystone\" boundary emblem, representing the state where the utility operates. Nested inside is the letter M styled with a lightning bolt cutting diagonally through it to symbolize electrical power.
The back stamp dates these plates to the first quarter of 1969 in the month range of January to March.
These plates come as you see em, so please look at the photos carefully! No breaks cracks chips or repairs. Normal wear from being eaten off of.
