Made in USABoard also carries a May 1974 marking.Especially interesting is the large protected black memory assembly on the reverse side along with the extensive hand-assembled discrete circuitry, gold-plated card-edge contacts, metal conductor pattern and original Fabri-Tek inspection/warranty labels.The original Fabri-Tek \"WARRANTY VOID IF BROKEN\" seals remain attached, making this an especially attractive display piece for a vintage-computing collection.Magnetic-core memory represents one of the landmark technologies of early computing. Individual microscopic ferrite cores stored binary information magnetically, and core memory served as the working memory of countless computers before being replaced by semiconductor RAM during the 1970s.An impressive piece for collectors of early computers, mainframe/minicomputer hardware, magnetic-core memory, computer history, industrial electronics, or museum/display collections.I have not positively identified the exact computer/system in which Fabri-Tek P/N 999-6363-00 was originally installed, so no specific DEC, HP, Data General, or other system compatibility is being claimed.Vintage electronic component is UNTESTED and sold as a historical/collectible item.
