Original program/invitation and admission ticket from “A Tribute to Alfred Hitchcock,” presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Academy Foundation at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater on December 5, 1984.
The event marked the presentation of the Alfred Hitchcock Collection to the Academy Archives and the formal reopening of the Margaret Herrick Library.
The program bears multiple handwritten signatures, including:

An exceptional gathering of Hollywood talent closely associated with Alfred Hitchcock. Peck starred in Spellbound, Stewart in Rear Window, Vertigo, Rope and The Man Who Knew Too Much, Leigh in Psycho, and Saint in North by Northwest. Bogdanovich was a noted filmmaker, historian and interviewer of Hitchcock and is listed on the program as presenting the retrospective film clips.
The original matching admission ticket for the December 5 event is mounted beneath the signed program and features Hitchcock’s famous profile.
Both pieces are mounted on a blue presentation board measuring approximately 16.5” × 12” overall.
The signatures have not been independently authenticated, and no certificate of authenticity is included. They are being offered as found and as shown in the photographs.
Vintage condition with expected age-related toning and minor handling wear. The blue presentation board shows some wear/marks. Please examine all photographs carefully for condition and signature details.
