2 Artisan Teddy Bear Ruben Bears small 8\" & 10\" jointed mohair plush vintage Lot For Sale

A couple of cuties! Two teddy bears in one lot. There is the two-colored brown and maroon red (mohair?) 10\" bear with a necklace and hat. He has a fabric label on his back that reads \"Ruben Bears\". The other golden plush bear is about 8\" long and has no tags. Unknown maker on that one. Both are fully jointed. They came from an extensive artisan bear collection out of a Washington DC estate.Buy with confidence - check my response!

Provenance:Bears came from a local Washington DC estate of an avid artist bear collector. She obtained her bears by attending the artist teddy bear shows and fairs that were once common during the 1980\'s and 1990\'s. She purchased most directly from the artists. She displayed her bears so some dust may be present. There were no signs of the owner being a smoker or animals in the house.
