20-Egg Mixed Hatching Assortment — Chickens, Ducks, Turkeys and Guineas:
$40.00

I strongly recommend choosing USPS Priority Mail20-Egg Mixed Hatching Assortment — Chickens, Ducks, Turkeys and Guineas

Enjoy the surprise of hatching a diverse flock with 20 fresh eggs selected from our carefully maintained breeding groups.

This assortment may include chicken, duck, turkey, bantam, and guinea fowl hatching eggs. Most eggs come from breed-specific breeding groups. The duck eggs are an intentional Rouen/Ancona cross, and the guinea eggs come from our Pearl flock with Lavender genetics.

Breeds That May Be Included

Your assortment may contain eggs from any of the following:

  • Ayam Cemani

  • Rouen/Ancona cross duck

  • Broad Breasted Bronze turkey

  • Rhode Island Red

  • Black Jersey Giant

  • Lavender guinea English Bantam

  • Silver Sebright

Orders are filled with the freshest suitable eggs available when it is time to ship. A particular breed, species, combination, or number of eggs from each breeding group cannot be guaranteed.

Your order may contain several breeds or multiple eggs from the same group, depending on which birds are laying. It is not guaranteed to contain every breed or species listed.

What You Will Receive

Every order contains:

  • 20 fresh assorted hatching eggs

  • Eggs selected from the breeding groups listed above

  • A possible mix of standard chickens, bantams, ducks, turkeys, and guineas

  • Eggs collected daily and individually selected for quality

  • Careful packaging appropriate for the different egg sizes

  • USPS tracking added the evening before shipment

I regularly hatch eggs from my breeding groups to monitor fertility. However, the exact contents of each assortment depend on seasonal production and which fresh eggs are available.

Breed Preferences

You are welcome to send me a message with your breed or species preferences. I will do my best to accommodate reasonable requests using the eggs available when your order is filled.

Preferences are requests only and cannot be guaranteed. Availability depends on:

  • Which birds are laying

  • The number of fresh, suitable eggs available

  • Seasonal production

  • Orders already waiting to be filled

Orders are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If your preferred eggs are unavailable, I will fill your order with other fresh eggs from the breeding groups listed above.

Important Incubation Information

This assortment may contain eggs from several poultry species. Chicken, bantam, duck, turkey, and guinea eggs do not all have identical incubation periods or requirements.

Before purchasing, please be prepared to identify and incubate the different types of eggs correctly. Depending on the contents of your order, you may need to account for differences in:

  • Incubation timing

  • Egg turning

  • Hatching schedules

  • Incubator space

  • Egg size

Some eggs may be visually identifiable by size, shape, or shell appearance, but individual breed identification may not always be possible. I recommend researching the incubation requirements for each possible species before your eggs arrive.

About the Assortment

This listing is an excellent option for customers who enjoy variety and do not need a specific number of eggs from any particular breed.

Possible results may include:

  • Large heritage-style and dual-purpose chickens

  • Productive brown or blue egg layers

  • Ornamental and rare chicken breeds

  • Bantam chicks

  • Rouen/Ancona cross ducklings

  • Broad Breasted Bronze turkey poults

  • Pearl or possibly Lavender guinea keets

Individual offspring may vary in color, size, appearance, temperament, and mature characteristics. Sex cannot be determined by looking at an egg, and your hatch may contain any combination of males and females.

Handling Time

Handling time is listed as up to 10 business days so that enough fresh eggs can be collected to fill every order. The eggs shipped to you will be freshly collected—not eggs that have been stored for 10 days.

I may have several orders listed at the same time, so the handling period gives the birds enough time to produce fresh eggs for each customer. Approximately 90% of orders ship sooner than the full handling period.

Tracking will be added to your order the evening before shipment.

Weather, seasonal laying patterns, molting, illness, predator activity, or other unexpected circumstances may temporarily affect production. If a delay occurs, I will contact you so you can choose whether to:

  • Wait until enough fresh eggs are available, or

  • Cancel your unshipped order for a full refund

Recommended Shipping Service

USPS Priority Mail is strongly recommended for shipments traveling more than one state away from South Carolina.

Although USPS Ground Advantage may save money, longer transit times can significantly reduce hatchability, especially during periods of extreme heat or cold. Fresh hatching eggs generally perform best when they reach the incubator as quickly as possible.

Based on my experience, shipments going to the West Coast frequently require several additional days in transit. USPS Priority Mail is highly recommended for those destinations.

The shipping service selected may be considered when determining what assistance I may be able to offer if a problem occurs.

Shipping is available only within the contiguous 48 United States. I am unable to ship hatching eggs to Alaska or Hawaii.

When Your Eggs Arrive

Allow shipped eggs to rest with the pointed end down for 12–24 hours before incubation so disturbed air cells can settle after transit.

Before setting the eggs, separate them by species when possible and confirm the correct incubation schedule for each type. Please follow your incubator manufacturer’s instructions and use accurate equipment to independently verify temperature and humidity.

Important Hatchability Information

Shipped hatching eggs are fragile, and hatchability cannot be guaranteed.

Hatch rates may be affected by factors outside my control, including:

  • Shipping time

  • Carrier handling

  • Rough handling or vibration

  • Extreme heat or cold

  • Storage after delivery

  • Delayed incubation

  • Incubator performance or calibration

  • Temperature and humidity

  • Egg-turning incubation requirements

  • Overall incubation methods

An egg that does not develop does not necessarily mean it was infertile. Shipping stress can damage an otherwise fertile egg or prevent normal embryo development.

I monitor fertility by hatching eggs from my breeding groups regularly. However, because shipping conditions, carrier handling, weather, equipment, and incubation practices are outside my control, I cannot guarantee hatch rates or offer refunds for eggs that fail to develop or hatch.

Eggs are shipped through USPS. I cannot control how a package is handled or how quickly it moves through the postal system after USPS takes possession of it.

Broken Eggs and Shipping Damage

The eggs are carefully packaged to protect the different sizes included in the assortment.

If your package arrives with broken eggs, please contact me immediately and provide clear photographs of:

  • The broken eggs

  • The internal packaging

  • The outside of the shipping box

  • The shipping label

Please retain the eggs, box, and all packaging materials while the claim is being addressed. I will assist you with filing the applicable USPS shipping-insurance claim.

Special Shipping Requests

Please contact me before your order ships if you would like:

  • Your package held at your local Post Office for pickup, or

  • The outside of your package not marked as containing eggs

I will be happy to accommodate either request if I receive your message before shipment.

Customer Care and response

I take great care to send fresh, properly selected hatching eggs from healthy birds and to package every order securely.

If you experience an issue, please contact me before leaving response. I will always do my best to help with matters within my ability to address.

response should reflect the quality of the eggs, packaging, communication, and service provided. Shipping conditions, carrier handling, weather, incubation equipment, incubation practices, assortment availability, and final hatch results are outside my control.

Thank you for supporting our family farm. We truly appreciate every order and wish you an exciting and successful hatch.

Happy hatching!
