Factory sealed Dominik Hasek “The Man Behind The Mask” collector calendar produced for the Variety Club Telethon 2000 in Buffalo, New York.
The cover features Buffalo Sabres legendary goaltender Dominik Hasek wearing his Bauer goalie mask and identifies the piece as a collector calendar benefiting Children’s Hospital, the Robert Warner Rehabilitation Center and other Western New York children’s charities.
The calendar was issued in connection with the Variety Club of Buffalo and originally sold for a $7 donation. Contemporary reporting from 1999 confirms that the calendar featured photographs of Hasek ranging from his childhood in the Czech Republic through his professional hockey career.
