This genuine OEM fuel vapor charcoal EVAP canister assembly (part number 77740-08070) is a direct-fit replacement engineered specifically for 2011–2017 Toyota Sienna models. As a critical component of your minivan's Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) system, this under-car canister captures and stores raw fuel vapors from the gas tank, preventing harmful emissions from leaking into the environment until they can be safely purged and burned during normal engine operation. If your Sienna is triggering an illuminated Check Engine Light with common EVAP system trouble codes (such as P0441, P0455, or P0456), suffering from decreased fuel economy, or experiencing a frustrating issue where the gas pump repeatedly clicks off early during refueling, replacing a saturated or cracked factory unit with this original equipment assembly will safely restore proper fuel tank venting and emissions compliance. Please note that professional installation is highly recommended to safely manage under-vehicle mounting brackets and delicate vapor lines, and specialized diagnostic scan-tool programming or resetting may be required after installation to clear stored fault codes and confirm a completely leak-free seal.
fitment Verification
To ensure a seamless repair, please verify your specific part number before purchasing. Do not rely solely on the compatibility chart, as manufacturers often use multiple variations for the same year and model. We recommend cross-referencing your original part with our high-resolution photos. The buyer assumes full responsibility for confirming compatibility; we do not guarantee third-party fitment data.
Installation & Professional Services
For safety and performance, we strongly recommend installation by a certified technician. Please note that certain electronic modules may require VIN-specific reprogramming by a dealership or specialist to function.
Condition & Expectations
This is a high-quality used part salvaged from a donor vehicle. While fully functional, expect typical signs of wear such as minor surface scratches or dust. For listings with multiple quantities, you will receive the correct part number, though it may vary slightly in cosmetic appearance from the photo. Note that donor vehicles are not for sale, and included accessories like pigtails, fuses, or brackets are provided as-is without warranty.
Warranty & Returns
Our warranty covers the part only and is void if the unit is disassembled, tampered with, or altered. We do not reimburse labor charges, diagnostic fees, or incidental expenses. All "core" or "rebuildable" “sold for parts” items are sold strictly AS-IS no warranty. To qualify for a refund, items must be returned in their original condition. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility, and original shipping fees are non-refundable. All parts are marked with unique security identifiers to prevent fraud; these marks must be present for any claim.
