2016 Cole Clark AN2EC-RDBL Angel Acoustic Guitar, 3-way pickup system, charity For Sale

[About me: I have bought and sold almost 100 acoustic guitars over the 47 years since I began playing guitar. I am getting on in years and am trying to get some of the guitars that I don\'t play very often into the hands of those who will play them. I did a lot of selling on years ago and had 100% positive response, but I see that has removed all of that response which is frustrating to me. I am now listing some guitars on in addition to the other musical instrument selling platform that begins with an R because partners with charities and I can get the proceeds of the sales directly to the charities instead of having to pay close to 10% of the proceeds to the other selling platform. Anyway, I just wanted to let any potential buyers know that I am not new to this, and I know how to pack and ship guitars very well, which would be hard for anyone to know since removed all of my response.]
I bought this 2016 Cole Clark Angel with Redwood top and Blackwood back and sides used in January 2025. I am selling it because I very rarely play out, and the strength of this guitar is its pickup system. To be totally transparent, I don\'t think it sounds very good unplugged. I want someone to have it that will play it out a lot because it feels great and sounds fantastic plugged in, with a mic, a face plate sensor, and an undersaddle pickup which are all adjustable with their innovative preamp system. 100% of the net proceeds of this sale will go to Food For the Poor.
It has a 1.73\" nut width and is definitely a players guitar. Its condition is pretty rough with the following issues:
1. The biggest issues are some cracks near the endpin jack and at the edge of the top at the bottom end of the guitar. They were there when I bought it used and have been stable in the time that I\'ve owned it. It seems like maybe the guitar had the case closed on it or it was compressed somehow near the bottom end. I did my best to capture them in the photos. I didn\'t make any attempt to fix them.2. There are multiple dings and dents in various locations on the guitar which I tried to show in the photos.3. When I received the guitar it had a clear pickguard on it, and when I removed it some of the adhesive residue was left behind. I have not tried to get it off because it\'s not very noticeable to me. The original black unused pickguard is included.4. When I run my finger across the top behind the bridge, I can feel the top rise behind the bridge, like a mound of thicker wood. It is a fairly quick rise on the top, not like the typical belly bulge that many guitars develop over time, so I think the area behind the bridge might have been left thicker on purpose during manufacturing, maybe to help make the redwood top more stable. With this guitar being primarily intended as a stage guitar, they may have chosen stability over acoustic tone and resonance.5. The previous owner had a Tonewood Amp installed, which has since been removed. There are bits of mounting adhesive on the inside back of the guitar which is leftover from where they had mounted the magnetic brace.6. There is a little bit of fret wear on some of the first few frets.
Other than that, it\'s in mint condition ;). But again, in spite of all of these issues, it seems like a very solid guitar and it sounds amazing when plugged in.
It plays very easily and is currently set up with action of just under 5/64\" at the 12th fret on the low E and 4/64\" at the 12th fret on the high E, with a very straight neck with hardly any relief. There is a plenty of saddle left, which is what makes me think that the bulge behind the bridge is on purpose and not the result of a bellying top.
The case is in great shape. According to my postal scale, the guitar weighs approximately 4.4 pounds.
