It marks the first and only time in the 234-year history of the United States Mint that the Philadelphia Mint placed a "P" mintmark on a circulating penny, a special addition to celebrate the Mint's 225th anniversary.Perfect for Album Fillers or Error Hunters!Because these coins were struck during a high-volume milestone year, the 2017-P issue is famous for a massive number of mint errors and die varieties. These fresh-from-the-roll coins are completely unsearched by me, giving you an excellent chance to hunt for verified varieties.Look for Wexler Doubled Die Obverses (WDDO-001 through WDDO-006+) which feature distinct extra thickness and lower-corner letter notches on LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST.Keep an eye out for the Floating Head variety, caused by aggressive mint die polishing that leaves Lincoln's head appearing detached from his bust.Check for aggressive die clashes, which show dramatic mirror-image outlines of the reverse shield superimposed on Lincoln's profile.Search for frequent die chips and cracks, which appear as raised metal anomalies inside the reverse shield design and letters of E PLURIBUS UNUM.Shipping and Handling:
