2027 Currier and Ives Wall Calendar – Americana & Heritage Art, 11"x16.5" For Sale

Nathaniel Currier and James Merritt Ives didn't just make prints — they made America see itself. Their legendary publishing house (1835-1907) produced some of the most beloved images in the history of American art: sleigh rides and harvest festivals, dramatic fires and frontier life, sporting heroes and quiet domestic moments that captured the spirit and everyday beauty of a nation finding its identity. Currier began his career apprenticing in a Boston lithography shop at fifteen before moving to New York, where his vivid prints of current events made him a household name. When Ives joined as partner in 1857, the collaboration became a printmaking powerhouse whose output defined the visual culture of an entire era. This wall calendar brings together a curated selection of their most captivating works — each month a new window into 19th-century Americana at its most warm, witty, and richly detailed. Printed in rich color on premium paper with a clear monthly overview, it is a genuine conversation piece for any home or office. When the year is over, simply trim and frame your favorites — or gift them to someone who loves American history told through art.
