2027 John Ferneley Wall Calendar – Classic Equestrian Horse Art Gift, 11x16.5\" For Sale

John Ferneley (1782-1860) was one of the finest equestrian artists of the English Regency era—a Leicestershire master whose exquisitely observed horse portraits, hunting scenes, and elegant horse and rider compositions captured the beauty and aristocratic tradition of English sporting life with a sensitivity and brilliance that placed him at the very top of his field. Trained under the legendary George Stubbs, Ferneley developed a style uniquely his own—refined, luminous, and deeply attuned to the individual character of each animal—making him the preferred painter of the Melton Mowbray hunting set and one of the most celebrated equine artists of his generation. His work remains among the finest examples of vintage horse art in existence, treasured by collectors and enthusiasts worldwide. This wall calendar brings together a curated selection of his most captivating works, transforming every month into a celebration of classic equestrian art and English sporting heritage. Printed in rich color on premium paper, each page is a genuine conversation piece—and when the year is over, simply trim and frame your favorites as distinctive antique horse prints or share them as thoughtful gifts for friends. The perfect gift for horse lovers, equestrian art collectors, and anyone who appreciates the timeless elegance of English sporting tradition.
