Pier 1 Imports Set of 3 Hand-Painted Safari Animal Shelf Sitters – Lion, Giraffe & Zebra
Wonderful set of three Pier 1 Imports safari animal figures featuring a lion, giraffe and zebra. These large, hand-painted decorative figures have articulated arms and legs designed to sit on the edge of a shelf, mantel, table or bookcase with their legs dangling.
Each figure measures approximately 20” long when fully extended. They are all approximately the same overall size. The lion features a large natural-fiber mane, while the giraffe and zebra have distinctive hand-painted patterns and textured finishes with gold, cream, black and burgundy accents.
The zebra retains its original Pier 1 Imports label on the bottom showing SKU 2618152, Made in Indonesia and an original retail price of $34.95.
Pre-owned and in good overall condition. These hand-painted figures feature an intentionally distressed/aged finish, giving each piece its own unique character. The lion has a small chip on the upper leg and a scuff/area of finish loss on the back. These areas could easily be touched up with a small amount of coordinating paint if desired. Please see close-up photos for these areas. Otherwise, the set displays beautifully.
