Set of 4 Antique Haviland & Co. Limoges France “Clover Leaf” Dinner Plates

Beautiful set of four antique Haviland & Co. Limoges porcelain dinner plates in the elegant Clover Leaf pattern, also identified as Schleiger #98.

These lovely French Limoges plates date to the late 19th/early 20th century. They feature a graceful scalloped and molded rim decorated with delicate green clover leaves and tiny pink/red blossoms. The shaped outer edge is lavishly accented with heavy gold decoration, which catches the light beautifully and gives the plates a particularly rich, formal appearance.

What really sets this set apart is the exceptional condition. The plates appear to have been used very little, if at all.

CONDITION:

Exceptional antique condition.

No chips, cracks, scratches or visible utensil marks. The plates appear to have been barely used, if used at all.

Most importantly, the extensive gold decoration is completely intact and retains its beautiful rich color and brilliance. There is no noticeable loss to the gold.

Please examine all photographs closely, including the close-up photographs of the rims and gold decoration, as they are an important part of the condition description.

Because of the extensive gold decoration, hand washing is recommended. Not suitable for microwave use.
