Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible lot of four (4) authentic vintage 1990s tube beads hand-carved by renowned artisan Robert \"Bob\" Burkett during his coveted Santa Fe era.
These features his iconic, highly detailed \"Reeds\" pattern, beautifully executed via traditional lost-wax casting.
Material & Patina Details:
• Alloy: Cast in genuine shibuichi, a historic Japanese alloy blending copper and silver.
• Authentic Vintage Aging: These are original 1990s productions, not the 2018 modern re-strikes. They feature a stunning, naturally aged atmospheric patina.
• Color Spectrum: The lot shows gorgeous, organic variation ranging from a rich, warm coppery-cinnamon hue to a deep chocolate/dark espresso tone.
• Natural Burnishing: Decades of gentle handling have naturally burnished the highest relief points of the reeds, exposing a subtle, beautiful silvery flash that contrasts sharply against the deep, dark oxidation in the crevices.
