The ADS L810 is a studio-quality, three-way, four-driver acoustic suspension loudspeaker from ADS (Analog & Digital Systems), the company founded by German engineer Dr. Godehard Guenther after he moved to the United States to work for NASA. It is one of the most celebrated designs in the ADS lineup and was developed around the company\'s \"Invisible Sound\" philosophy: exceptionally wide dispersion and smooth power response, with the transient speed and precise imaging that make the speakers seem to disappear. The driver complement is a pair of 8\" woofers in ADS\'s dual-woofer, sealed-enclosure design for tight, accurate bass, a dedicated 2\" soft-dome midrange, and a lightweight ¾\" soft-dome tweeter with very low moving mass for fast, airy highs and uniform dispersion. The crossover points are 550Hz and 4kHz. Frequency response is 35Hz to 23kHz (±3dB), efficiency is a high 94dB, and nominal impedance is 6 ohms with a 4-ohm minimum. Power handling is 100 watts and recommended amplifier power is 20 to 200 watts. The cabinet is finished in natural walnut veneer and weighs approximately 46 lbs.
Often described as warm yet sparkling, with an open, natural, and detailed midrange, deep and punchy bass for a speaker of its size, and plenty of dynamic ability, the L810 is one of the most musical vintage speakers of its era. At 94dB sensitivity it is easy to drive, though its 4-ohm minimum calls for an amplifier comfortable with a lower-impedance load.

- Speakers have been tested and found that both tweeters do not output any audio. They have not been disconnected and checked as we have decided to sell them as-is. Tweeters come up semi-often so this is a great deal for someone who’s been looking for a pair. All other drivers have been confirmed to be working great.
