The gilding around the dial and around the door are in very good condition and have not been polished off.The only issues that I can see with my eye are crazing to the glaze which is normal for a porcelain item at this age, a scratch on the outer beveled glass door, and the cork that holds the screw in the back for the cover is loose..The clock casing has no cracks and no chips and the paint is an excellent condition..i’d say 85 to 90% of the gold accenting is still intact with a minor wear.Clock measures 1 foot tall x 8 inches wide x 5 inches deep.Clock will be wrapped with the utmost care..
Clock weighs 8 1/2 pounds unboxed and shipping will reflect that..Please keep in mind as with all mechanical clocks, shipping may upset the movement and some readjustment may need to be made..This item is in antique. It can, and it will show signs of wear and usage consistent with age.
