Vintage RPPC – Albion Hotel, Pennsylvania
Real photo postcard of a large corner hotel building with a bracketed cornice, rows of upper-story windows, and a railed balcony running across the front above the ground floor. Big plate-glass storefront windows line the street level, and a sign reading "Hotel" hangs beside the entrance, where a small group of men stands in the doorway. A wide street and curb fill the foreground, with neighboring buildings at the edges of the view. The card is unposted with no stamp, printed on CYKO real photo paper, and carries handwritten names and addresses in ink on the back along with a later pencil notation identifying the Albion Hotel. The card has a light stain on the back; please see photos. A nice piece for collectors of Pennsylvania topographical postcards, early hotels, or small-town commercial architecture.
