This historic piece features a classic, crisp Fiddle Thread pattern handle. It is beautifully double-stamped on the reverse stem with the prestigious maker\'s mark \"W.B. DURGIN\" (Concord, New Hampshire) and the retail jeweler\'s stamp \"H.B. ROGERS & CO.\" (Hiram B. Rogers, jeweler working in Concord, NH during the same era).
The reverse base of the large, deep bowl features an elegant, raised heart-shaped structural drop—a hallmark trait of high-end American silver of this era.Condition:
Excellent antique condition with a wonderful aged patina and light surface marks consistent with age and careful use. No major dents or deep gouges. Please note there is a small, shallow vintage test/file mark on the reverse of the heart drop (visible in photos), which beautifully verifies the solid precious metal quality throughout the piece.
